Fall Book Fair 2019

It's time for the Fall Book Fair!! We can't wait!

Beginning right after Election Day, we will run through November 14.

Stop by to see the Under the Sea Exhibit from our Art Dept. and the moving gear scenes created by Tech Apps students!

Awesome books are available, including the latest release from Alan Gratz, Allies!

New Books

We have some new titles here to greet you when school begins this fall!  One humorous selection is My Life as a Meme. Here is the author, Janet Tashjian, with our librarian, Mrs. Adriansen:

You may have read the popular series by Rob Buyea, Because of Mr. Terupt. We also have a great middle school story by this author: The Perfect Score. Come check them out!

Summer Programs!

Our public libraries offer awesome (and FREE) programs all summer long!  Sign up ahead of time, so you can save your spot! You can go to any of these libraries.

Spring Book Fair

March is Reading Month, and we've got a lot of great books in our Spring Book Fair!

We appreciate your support!  We gain fresh, new books for our library through this fair!

Makerspace in the Media Center

We had a good time at the Makerspace Activity, exploring creativity in the Oak Valley Media Center! With Dash Robots, we coded a pathway and also gave directions to play a song on a xylophone:

The Ozobots followed our color codes, creating spins and turns with turbo action, too!

Students did an amazing job of building complex (and tall) structures with simple Keva Planks:

And it's always relaxing and fun to make a craft together!

Remember that you are not limited to just one library -- you can mix and match! (Some of the programs have a limit, so sign up in advance!)  Most "teen" offerings are available for those who have finished sixth grade and up.
