Monkey Raffle for "All for Books"

Yes, we are raffling off a monkey to benefit All for Books!  Tickets may be purchased during lunch from May 13 to May 20.

For each dollar contributed, Scholastic will give one book to K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations) or Kids in Need.

In addition, our Oak Valley Media Center will receive books as well!  It's a win-win!

From the raffle, each grade will have three winners.  Prizes include: 1) book of choice from book fair, 2) eat your lunch on the stage with waiter/waitress, and 3) the big ol' monkey and the book in his hand!

BOGO Book Fair

At OVMS, our Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair runs the week of May 23-27.  At this affordable rate, we hope you can stock up on reading for the summer!  Stop by and check out the exciting titles!

Service Learning Projects

Our eighth graders at OVMS enjoy service learning projects during M-Step testing days.  For example, students may choose to obtain supplies for Blessings in a Backpack, share Random Acts of Kindness, or assemble a lesson for elementary kids,

In the OV Media Center, students are practicing a presentation for the residents at West Lake Health Campus.  Preparing music, magic, and games, the students hope to share smiles and bring joy to our senior citizens!
